Lynda Farley mixes her Afghan Hound pages with political campaigning, smokers’ rights material, and claims that dispute public-health information about second-hand smoke.
Its weblog also describes animal-rights organisations as radicals and repeatedly campaigns against laws and regulations affecting dog breeders.
We believe that animal welfare, responsible oversight, and honest health information should be more important than protecting a breeder from criticism or regulation.
We are uncomfortable directing visitors toward a breeder whose published positions conflict so strongly with those principles.

- Ask to see where the animals are raised.
- Research the medical history of both parents.
- Read the sales and return contract carefully.
- Do not rely only on show titles or statements made by the breeder.
- Look for independent veterinary documentation.
